ACVO is commited to providing quality learning experiences to staff and volunteers working in the Third Sector.

ACVO is an approved centre with a range of awarding bodies including EDI, ASET, City and Guilds, LANTRA, ASDAN and ILM, as well as being an approved centre for e-nvq (from 1.8.08)

ACVO offers awards in Management, Business and Administration, Health and Social Care, Team Leading, Learning and Development-including Assessor and Verifier Awards and Clusters in Training, Mentoring and Coaching. ACVO also offers Community Volunteering Awards, the Certificate in Learning and Development for Unpaid Carers as well as Road Transport Support at Level 2.

ACVO works with employers in the sector as a strategic partner to improve skill levels, increase qualification rates and access funding opportunities which enable and faciliate engagement to focussed learning  which underpins Workforce Development Strategy.

ACVO works with assessors and verifiers who are from and understand the culture and working practices within the Third Sector and are able to support learners effectively as they pursue their chosen qualifications.
